My name is Michael. I built this site for my own use: I wanted to know when an address or a name appeared in the Geneva Official Gazette (FAO) without reading it every evening. Since it was already running, I opened it to everyone. The subscription covers hosting, payment fees and the time I spend on it. My full identity is given in the legal notice.

What the site does

On each publication evening, I load that day's edition into the service. It is compared against every subscriber's keywords, and an email goes to those concerned. The email gives the date of the edition and the keywords found, nothing more. The Official Gazette remains the source: that is where you read the notice, and legal deadlines run from its publication, not from my email.

Why Geneva only

Because that is the gazette I read. Vaud and Valais, for that matter, do already have alerts built into their own official gazettes; Geneva does not. The public sources where all of this can be checked free of charge are listed on the frequently asked questions page.
